L'abus d'alcool est dangereux pour la santé, consommez avec modération...
We are rich in our terroirs.
"We don't inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children" Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
In Gaudou, seven generations of winegrowers have learned, worked and cherished this land. Composed of gravel, clay and limestone, they are the basis of our wines, they are our wealth. Indeed, our region is endowed with an infinite palette of terroirs, like a great patchwork. Faced with this obvious fact, Fabrice has chosen to let his terroirs speak for themselves at the heart of his wines by creating a "Lieu-dit" range which is the perfect reflection of them.
A passion with a firm grip on the body
"The best wine is not necessarily the most expensive, but the one we share. "Georges Brassens
At the Durou family, wine is passed on! From generation to generation, the common element is passion; for this profession of land above all, but also of artist, of creator... We produce moments of conviviality, of sharing, of love! And this is the meaning of our profession. Because there is no better recognition than to see the smiles on the faces of consumers when they open a bottle and to feel their pleasure when they taste it.
Guided by our values
"Nothing equals the joy of a man who drinks, except the joy of wine to be drunk." Charles Baudelaire
Nature : since 2015, we have been committed to sustainable agriculture, with the achievement of High Environmental Value certification in 2016. We have also embarked on a conversion to organic farming. We have chosen to grass all our vines (grass in the rows and under the vines) to let Nature do its work and protect biodiversity.
Humans : human beings are at the heart of our profession, the men and women who have walked on Gaudou's land have left a little of themselves in the vines, in the wines. Without them, the wines of Gaudou would not be possible. We take the comfort of our team to heart, ensuring their safety through high-performance investments.
